Our Team and Advisors Sara Pax - Managing Director Sara is a results-oriented leader with a successful history of entrepreneurship, business development, and project implementation. She has 10 years of experience in fair trade, sustainable business development, international trade, and organic and fair trade certification. Ms. Pax holds an MBA with a specialty in market research and a Bachelors Degree in International Relations. sara.pax@bluehorseassociates.com Anne Himeno – Associate Partner Anne is an environmental engineer with expertise in water and wastewater treatment, as well as IT audit and governance. During her years at Ernst & Young, she worked specifically in risk management and audit. A native French woman, Anne has an international background with over 8 years in Canada, USA, Japan and Brazil. Anne is a founding member and co-president of the professional chapter of Net Impact, Paris. Anne has an MBA from McGill University, and an engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines d’Alès. anne.himeno@bluehorseassociates.com Lori Gustavus – Director of Communications and Marketing Lori is a communications and strategy specialist with a diverse background in media, luxury goods, beauty brands, IT, telecommunications and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining BHA, Lori was an editor and business journalist for global trade publication Cosmetic News, based in Paris, France. Lori earned a BA in International Relations and Business from the University of St Thomas in Houston, Texas. brings deep insight from this sector that only a person with his
experience can provide. In 1976, Mr. Solomon jointly founded and was
subsequently Chairman and Chief Executive of Hillsdown Holdings, plc
and drove the business to become one of the largest food groups in
Europe, employing over 50,000. An authority on sustainable supply chains, Stephen Weir implements operational excellence. Mr. Weir is the founder of ProActive Logistics, which has become Weir-tscs Total Supply Chain Sustainability. His expertise spans industries from extraction through manufacturing to government sector, high-tech and pharmaceuticals. Paul Goodman As Principal of environmental consultancy and property development firm Kingfisher Group, Mr. Goodman brings an ecological perspective from an industry that has made vast progress on environmental issues. He holds an M.A. in Energy and Environmental Sciences from Boston University and is affiliated with the advocacy organization Environmental Law and Policy Center. Kim Dancey A litigation attorney by trade, Ms. Dancey took a special interest in the areas of labor, human rights and domestic law and carried this compassion into various roles as a community organizer. With this background in addition to her experience in tax litigation, investment banking and business development, Ms. Dancey has a keen sense of organizational strategy and human resources.
